Hey guys, long time… 😳😅 Seriously, I’ve been really horrible this fall (thus far… 🙄) about taking many pictures and posting reports both so I am sorry, but Salmon season was pretty much salmon season as always and fortunately, John stayed pretty much on top of it keeping you informed! 😎👍

Thank you from BBT, myself, all users and the river itself! 👊😎🎣

Dennis, Jay & Patrice put in some good work with me… 😎👍

I don’t really have much for you right now that I can add to what John has already been posting having just finished with my usual break between Salmon and Steelhead, but I did want to publish a few random photos that I haven’t posted anywhere else yet (sorry if I missed anyone) and take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who’s fished, shopped or stayed with us this season as well as give a special shout out to everyone who took the day this past Saturday to help us with the 30th annual Fall River Cleanup!!

A small amount of the bounty! 🎉😁

As to “the report”… We could really use some serious rain, but it does look like some help is on the way in that department! 😎🌧️ 🎉 (Super low and clear conditions are making things like presentation and tippets a little more important than usual…)

Jay and. Patrice were rewarded on Sunday with shots at four hot fish in the lower river, 3 Steelhead and a Coho from what we could tell, but just this one large King to hand that crushed a hot-n-tot…

We were greeted with unusually high traffic in the mid river on Monday, but saw lots of fish in the gin clear water and Patrice bagged a couple of well fed browns on beads. These guys are great anglers I’ve fished with forever; conditions, conditions… 🎣

Fish numbers are actually pretty good on all fronts at the moment with plenty of Trout feeding on eggs, new Steelhead showing up, decent numbers of Cohos as well and even some fresh(er) Kings still around. I’ve had my share of each on my lines lately, but the Steelhead in particular have been mostly super hot and really hard for most to hang on to! 😅

Got my cousins Jim & Mark out for a float last Wednesday and ran into some Cohos on tots… Great catching up with the Family! 😎👍

We’ve got plenty of great guide dates available yet between myself, John K, John R or Donnie if you’d like to get in on the action in comfort with some experienced and knowledge on your side. Give the shop a call to book or check on motel and guide dates. 8am – 6pm daily (231) 745-3529

The rest of these pics are just a few from some more recent trips that I never posted… Thanks everyone and sorry that I missed a few! 👊🎣

I’m gonna cut this short now as I have an appointment here in a little while; just wanted to let you know that I am still around and I’m excited for the Steelhead part of the fall season that’s our primary focus now! Conditions look great for tomorrow and we’ve got several boats going out so I’ll have more for you soon.

Have fun, be well, happy, kind when you can and stay safe always! 😎🇺🇸🎣🦅
