Hey guys, save the date! On Saturday, October 24th 2026 we will be holding our 30th annual Fall River Cleanup! (59th in total if you add in all the springs. 👍)

More details to follow but it is helpful to have a rough estimate of participants in planning the dinner and appreciation party afterwards so please call the shop and let them know you’re coming if you can! (Last minute participants are always welcome as well.)

Per usual we will provide the trash bags and free car spots to anyone who might need them and some good river Karma is pretty much guaranteed!

I keep thinking I’ll find the time to post a decent (longer) report, but that doesn’t seem to happen, so here it is below in a few of the pictures I actually took. (It says, lots of kings still around… 😉)

We did get some much needed rain that bumped the water and brought in some more new fish and a few Steelhead from what I’ve heard but it’s soaking it all up rather quickly and we’ll definitely want some more… (I’ll be heading way downriver today to see if I can confirm some of those shiny new arrivals. 😎🎣👍)

I’m not really interested in booking any more Salmon trips than I already have this season, but I do believe we still have a few open dates with some of our other guides if you’re interested in jumping in a boat for a great day of King fishing! 👍😎🎣

Per usual I have blocked off the week from October 15th to the 22nd for a reset of my physical and mental well being, but if you are interested in a scouting mission in the lower river for new arrival Steelhead you may be able to talk me into that personally during that time.

My calendar opens up to one and all (just like the rest of our guides are always) after that short hiatus right thru March 1st and I know for certain that we’ve got some prime-time fall Steelheading dates available! Give us a call to check on motel or guide dates: (231) 745-3529 7am to 7pm

No time for much more… We hope to see you soon, have fun, be well, happy, kind when you can and stay safe always! 😎🇺🇸🎣🦅
