Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Just a very brief update from me this morning then I will “try” to post a more full report this evening sometime…
it got very cold last night slowing the runoff and dropping the level up here by 6” and visibility is actually very good at several feet, but the river is also flowing slush so far today and icy leaders with frozen balls for flies is what we are currently dealing with.
That should change nicely as the day goes by and I am excited about the prospects for this afternoon and the coming days. (My next open days are currently April 5th & 7th, then it opens up a bit on/after the 14th.) For now, continue to use extreme caution if you go. Have fun, but be safe!
tight lines all,
Steve
