Hey guys… I was gonna do a long, drawn-out report, but wound up filling the day I was going to do that in and there is really no need…

Sounds like it’s still pretty thin in the mid to upper river aside from a few of the normal good early holding spots but they showed up downriver where we’ve been fishing pretty solid on Friday and it’s been game on ever since…

You can expect those fish to make their way upstream with or without more water any time now. Thundersticks and larger soft beads (#16-20) in the red/cherry spectrum have been my go-to lures.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Karen and I’s 36th wedding anniversary back on the 2nd. Not sure how she does it, but it apparently works for us, and she hasn’t ditched me yet! (Love you baby! 😘❤️)

Anyway, that’s about all I’ve got for now! Please stop in the shop if you get a chance! (Or stay at the motel, book a trip, etc…) Our pockets aren’t quite as deep as all the “dealers” 😉 around here, so we aren’t quite as fancy, but if you appreciate our conservation efforts and what we try to do for the river in general, our reports and information over the years and the customer service we offer we’d love to have your support in this thinly sliced pie!

I’ll save my photos from today for my next report since I have the same group tomorrow, but here’s a couple of many that Kam got with the father and son duo of Jake and Dan! (Daniel, Danny, still not clear on that! 🤣)

Take care, be safe, have fun and try to be nice to each other out there! 😎 (I’ll never understand the mean mugs out there sometimes! 🤷♂️)
