Hey Guys,

Just have time for a quick post, but wanted to get it done today. First off, the weather is awesome and is actually supposed to remain that way until Sunday evening when we may get some more wet stuff. This will work out well as the annual fundraiser for the Pere Marquette Chapter of Trout Unlimited is to be held right here at BBT tomorrow evening starting at 5pm! (PS. We still have rooms available at Motel BBT, a great place to stay with the event right there in the yard!! ;^)

Thanks to everyone who helped out with BBT’s annual Spring Cleanup! (Even those not pictured! ;^)

You do not have to be a member to attend this event and support this great organization; Tickets will be available at the door for a cost of $25. (Look for the big tent between the shop and motel, additional parking will be available directly across the street in the grass lot!) Kegs will be tapped at 5, dinner is at 6. There will be live music as well as some live auction, silent auction, bucket raffle items (I believe) that will be drawn and sold as well as the winner of the Stealthcraft Boat raffle drawn!

Fun with Dennis!

Last I knew there were still a few boat tickets left, but those were going fast and only 200 will be sold in total. Leftovers will be available onsite if there are any. (More information and contact info to get a ticket now at site linked above.)

Had a great day with Jeremiah hooking drop backs and browns! Here’s a few…

If for some reason you are unable to physically attend (Or, even if you do!) you can still help out by visiting the Annual “PMTU 1st Brown Fund Raising Auction” online! Here you can bid on great items thru May 12, make a purchase or simply donate! Click the link and check it out!!!

Trout opener with the crew was a blast as usual! Hope everyone had fun…

The water is in great shape up top here right now, up a little with a nice stain, but not so much the fish can’t see the surface and we do have some fish rising to various bugs already as well as a streamer bite! Hit the river then a cause sounds like a great weekend plan to me…

One sunny day then a cold wet one, but it’s always a blast with Jay and Patrice!

I need to get off of here now and get a few things done, but I’d like to mirror John’s remarks in his report about our appreciation of all your support over all these years! It allows us to do what we love while hopefully serving your needs at the same time as a win/win situation!

This drop back fought like a new one!

Come the end of this month I’m gone for the summer, but I (As well as John and John) still have some great trout dates left in may for those interested. Give the shop a call or stop in (It’s full of great inventory!! ;^) to check on dates! 1-231-745-3529

Tight lines all,

Steve
