Well! This is new and exciting… My bike finally arrived on Monday and my summer life here in Alaska is complete! From here on out I have the ability to head out and update my web site for example at any time I choose without having to wait on or ask for a vehicle. Needless to say, you can now expect more regular post from me during the weekdays, but Saturday is now an actual day off instead of doing computer work and will be strictly for fun! ;^)

Mike and Josh helped me uncrate it.

All in one shot, my summer residence, my bike and even my canine companion!

I have four of my own clients in camp this week with Walt Grau as the second guide and it’s been a fun harvest the past three days with a few rainbows tossed in for good measure.

Lots of Pinks this year for a non run year!

Plenty of silver Sockeyes around yet as well…

Had a few quadruple hookups when they were pushing thru thick!

Twenty for a four man limit was no problem!

Tons of Sculpins in this river.

A close-up.

Gratuitous visitor shot .

A couple of the better incidental Rainbows.

Tried to get out on a fly out both yesterday and today, but the wind out of the southwest keeps pushing in fog to this point and since I haven’t bothered to get a King stamp this year I sent them out with Walt and Shag today to chase those for a day. We will make a new attempt at fly outs tomorrow and the next day as the weather looks like it “might” actually cooperate for those times…

Today is Zane’s 21st birthday so we’ll be going out to eat in town this evening and have a drink at the bar. With any luck Jim will remember to pick up a few pallets while he’s at the dump today and we’ll have a bonfire back here at camp afterward. Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now. Odds are my next update will come sometime on Monday or Tuesday of next week, but if I get motivated to type and crop photos before then I’ll just do it! Till next time, tight lines…
