Hi guys, just a real quick one from me this morning but only to let you know that yes, I am still alive!
John’s been doing a great job of covering what’s happening on the river in his March 17th & March 23rd reports and I don’t have much to add…
I’ve actually been horrible at getting photos lately when I have been out, but I’ve also had a fair number of days off since my last report. (Fortunately, most of those were paid days off. 😅)
We are still actively seeking both full and/or part time help at the shop! In other words, our area definitely does not have a strong number of qualified sales associates to choose from so if you are interested at all or know someone who may be please see the job description below! 👊👍
I’ve also had a fair number of inquiries while out amongst the anglers about my new boat’s progress… I am proud to say that it has made it past the paint stage and has just recently made it into the finish shop so… I may just be able to use it a little bit during this season yet and it’s looking good! 😎
Water looks great, lots of fish are around and it should continue to be good for quite some time yet so if you get a chance, come on up, see us and catch one while you’re here!! 👊👍

BBT Fly & Tackle Shop is seeking full and/or Part Time Retail Sales Associates
Description:
We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable individual to provide top-tier customer service, assist with rod, reel, fly, tackle and accessories selections, manage point-of-sale operations in an often fast-paced environment and take reservations for Guide Trips & Motel Rooms.
Requirements:
A solid foundation of knowledge in fly, spin and bait fishing as well as the equipment needed, experience with POS systems, and strong interpersonal skills. (Interpersonal skills is the only actual unconditional requirement as the right person could be trained on the rest.)
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting customers with gear, taking reservations, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and inviting shop/work environment.
Experience Needed:
This varies a lot depending upon your work ethic, personality and ability to learn, but being “experienced in fly and/or spin fishing” is most certainly a major bonus as is some history in retail sales…
