Hey guys, I’m gonna make this one short and sweet as there’s not much new to tell that you don’t already know… The water is low and clear, fish are abundant in the areas that I’ve been in and so are the anglers for them!
With the lack of fish on some other systems the PM is getting hit with angling pressure much higher than in recent history. Thus far everyone seems to be playing nice for the most part and everyone is enjoying themselves, but please keep the old rule of treating others as you would wish to be treated yourself in mind…
Ours is a naturally reproducing river that has a unique ability to sustain a bit more than others in some respects, but that only goes so far. You can read more about that in this link if you’re interested and please take the time to read John’s report from last night where he tosses out some food for thought for us all.
Burning the proverbial candle at both ends hardly describes it this time of year as most of you well know, but I do want to take a minute to thank everyone for your support as always and offer up an opportunity for everyone to give back to the river just a little bit if you’re so inclined?? We have set the date for our Fall 2021 Clean-Up. Saturday, October 23, 2021 is give back day, details will follow…
New shop hours are 7am – 7pm Friday & Saturday and 8am – 6pm Monday – Thursday… We would love to be open longer to serve your needs, but short handed is the new rule of thumb around the US and we are beyond extremely thankful for the awesome staff we do have who are making the best of it, working those long hours and doing their very best to help you in any way they can. The team is top notch and you are appreciated!!!
Steelhead dates are filling fast and we’re looking forward to a great season on that front soon. Grab a date (or a few) if you haven’t already and lets go have some fun! Nothing more to add for now, till next time, take care, be well, be safe and be happy!!
