The river is low and clear at the moment, but we are getting some rain tonight and tomorrow. There are fish throughout the system, but LOTS of fishing pressure. It has been really busy. Please respect your fellow angler and their space! “Ask before you cast” is the best program. Hunting the dark water has been the best bet over the last week!
I do not have much to say…fishing has been good! The best action has been on eggs, but bugs have been getting bites too. Cream clowns, pale nukes, estaz eggs and mini rag eggs are getting the most attention. Black stones, fry, green caddis and pheasant tails have been my “go to” fly patterns. Burning the candle at both ends right now, so that’s all I got!
