Things are about to get very interesting…warm weather, big thaw and rain in the forecast. I am ready!!!! But be careful wading and stay tuned for current water level conditions. The fishing has been decent, but we need the water to warm up to get consistent fishing. We have been hitting fish on cream clowns, chartreuse nukes and hexes. As soon as the water warms up the early girl egg bite will be strong as well as the salmon fry patterns. Look for winter fish staging in pockets around spawning gravel and new (spring fish) in the pools and runs.
Things are about to change, so I will not write too much. Enjoy the river, be safe and respect other anglers space.
