In other words, look for the next PM report to come from John and feel free to call the shop for current conditions. My wife Karen and I will be away until the 3rd (Thanks Jake for house and dog sitting!) and I should be posting again shorty after that.
Good luck and tight lines if you get out, looks like there will be some decent weather to play in and hopefully a few of you get a chance to take advantage! (Both John K and John R are available for full or half day guide trips! ;^)
Haven't had much to report since before Christmas as I have either been hunkered down or out of town for the most part... Most recently we just got back from our annual Patagonia, Argentina trip!
Once again and, as always, we had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery, culture, food, beverages and awesome hospitality of our host Pedro and crew. Oh, and did I mention, the fishing was fantastic! Unfortunately, most fish were released without photo after a few "grande" fish were caught and all those 18" - 22" fish didn't seem quite as big, but you get the idea! ;^)
Anyway, here is the slideshow! I usually encourage full screen viewing on these "videos", but because I was originally going to publish these photos individually rather than a slideshow they are at a lower resolution. This is best viewed on a phone or, remain in the screen as seen here for optimal clarity...
Prior to Christmas was my last trip out on the PM with Tom and the day after that my wife Karen and I left for an extended visit with my father and stepmother at their place in Rosslyn/Arlington overlooking the DC mall...
Sorry for the lack of "reports", but I returned from that DC area trip just a few short days before leaving on the trip shown in slides above! A HUGE thanks goes out to Steve from Barski for house and dog sitting for so long. It really meant a lot to me being able to have a great visit with my father who is currently battling some health issues.
A few of shots from my last PM trip with Tom.
A few shots from DC & Virginia.
You can see the mall lit up thru the reflection of dad's window here.
I walked into or back from the mall area several times during our visit and stopped at almost every landmark, here are just a couple of shots, but I posted many more on my Facebook page.
A proud son with his father!
From the sounds of it the fishing here on the PM hasn't been exactly easy and I haven't missed much, but it looks like we may get a break in the weather and a window of opportunity coming up this weekend! "Odds are" I'll try and take advantage of it and get out there. If I do, I will try and post another update with more up to date info on river conditions and such shortly thereafter... Till next time, tight lines!
