Hey guys, very short on time today with so much to do on the day off so I’m going very light on all the photos that I simply don’t have time to re-size for web use, details and the usual commentary this go around…

Luke with a fry eating trout…
Keith with an egg eater!

As John mentioned in his report, we have set a date for the Annual Spring River Cleanup! Please join us on Saturday, April 23rd for this worthwhile day of conservation and an evening of fun. More details to follow but save the date if you can and let our awesome crew at the shop know how many will be in your party if you plan to join us for us for the appreciation dinner afterwards. As always, the car spots, garbage bags and dinner will be on us, but BYOB.

Stole this pic from Kam of a nice one Steve got!
Myron and Paul managed a handful to hand and many more that got away, here’s a couple…

Alex and his son James had a great day, here’s just a few of theirs…

It’s been a great season so far and our worries of not enough snow to melt were unfounded! We love big flows and it’s been an awesome roller coaster ride in the use caution level for some time now. Just take a look at the Time Series Visualizations for the M-37 and Bowman’s monitors below here for the past 9 days. Highest peak was last Saturday, but our guys did great then as well and clarity is perfect at the moment…

M-37 April 1 – 9, 2022
Bowman’s April 1 – 9, 2022

I expect we’ll have plenty of Steelhead around thru mid-month as always and it should remain “good” for them thru the end of the month with fishable numbers around and a mix bag coming into play. We’re ready to toss streamers anytime you are just let us know! ? We’ve got guides and motel rooms available, give the shop a shout to check on dates and let’s go play. (231) 745-3529

Pete and his son-in-law Brian did well on our annual group trip. Here’s a couple of theirs….

Rod and his son Nick had a hard time taming some of the many big fish we had on-line in the heavy flows, but we put a couple to hand along with some dandy trout!

Paul with the first fish of the day and his first on a fly!
Fat and sassy!

I’m gonna cut this short now and grab some dinner before taking care of some other chores, but before I go and as always, thanks for your support! Take care, be safe, have fun and tight lines…
